Drummer Kenny Buttrey, 59
Posted: Wednesday, September 15th, 2004 6:50 amDrummer Kenny Buttrey, who recorded hits with Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Jimmy Buffett, has died in Nashville. He was 59. Family members said Buttrey died Sunday of cancer at his home.
Buttrey worked much of his career in Nashville recording studios, providing the percussion for albums including Dylan’s “Nashville Skyline” and “Blonde on Blonde” and Young’s “Harvest.” … Read full obituary
